I'm sure you've been in a photo booth before, perhaps just for fun at a mall, or maybe at a party or even someone else's wedding? There are different kinds of photobooth's and today we are going to talk about the possibility of one at your wedding reception!
What is a photo booth?
A Photobooth is either a small enclosed structure with a camera installed inside and a curtain to close the "door" or, it is a more open concept with a simple backdrop and camera with a trigger in front. Both of these setups produce very similar looking photographs and one is not better than the other! Some photo booth companies do offer the "strip" of photos whereas the open concept of photo booths will come as individual photos.
It may be offered by your Wedding Photographer!
Always ask. Your wedding photographer may offer this service, it may even be added as an add-on service on their website or packaging.
If your wedding photographer doesn't offer this as a package there are photo booth vendors out there that specialize in offering just photo booth services, similar to a DJ.
However, there are pro's to going with a wedding photographer who offers this as part of their service.
- You get your photo booth pictures in the same delivery time as your wedding photos
- The same team sets up the photo booth, if you have any questions you simply just go and ask.
- No separate hiring of individuals as well as having to juggle arrival time etc.
- No separate payments.
- No extra contract
To have some extra fun for you as well as your guests at your wedding. Ask your photographer about their photo booth services.
